The job
On YourCasino, anyone can become the house. Before someone becomes the house, however, someone must decide whether they should. That someone is you. You will assess applicants for what our internal rubric calls "house energy" and issue determinations that are kind, well-documented, and final.
What you'll do
- Score prospective hosts against the 12-point rubric
- Maintain the rubric, currently a feeling, soon a document
- Verify that bankrolls exist and belong to the people claiming them
- Issue determinations with kindness and finality
- Own the appeals process (there is no appeals process; own that too)
What we're looking for
- Background in underwriting, moderation, or judging people accurately
- Can articulate why someone is trustworthy without using the word "vibes" more than once
- Unbothered by appeals
- Has told a friend "no" and remained friends
- Notarization experience a plus
Why we're doing this
Anyone can become the house. "Can" is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
